“Team Helping Hands for Nepal” pulled out all the stops again Sunday 10th July with a Fun Dog Show in Tollerton. Very well attended despite the heat many local dogs entered the 10 classes, all of which were generously sponsored by local small businesses.......

Family members from Jersey, the USA and Greece flew in to help celebrate Easingwold resident, Joan Arnold’s 100th birthday on 29th June. Joan has lived in Easingwold for 25 years, for nearly 24 of those in Oulston Road.......

Team Helping Hands held a Nepalese Banquet (2nd July) towards their fundraising efforts for their volunteer trip to Nepal in August. At the last minute, The Blacksmiths Arms in Newton On Ouse kindly stepped in to host the evening, where we served traditional dishes, meat and vegetarian, including lentil dhal, pork and chicken curry, and mango sorbet with Nepalese biscuits.......
