Easingwold heats up for the finale of the Summer of Music ...

Well, after a rather challenging at times Summer in Easingwold, we were due a break in the weather – and it just happened to coincide with the last event in our Easingwold Summer of Music.

For the Finale, we ensured everyone had a great time by choosing “Jiving Licence”, a great 50’s / 60’s rocking band! They have only been playing together for a year but you would never know as they gave us a very polished set.

Their play list varied from up beat versions of “Summertime Blues”, “All shook up” & “His latest flame” (Elvis Presley), “C’mon Everybody” as well as launching into great versions of “Bad Moon Rising” (Credence Clearwater Revival), “Oh Boy” & “The young ones” (Cliff Richard) and even a Beatles track “Eight days a week..
