Village Playground Benefits From Egg-Man’s Grand Donation ...

Shipton by Beningbrough's Parish Council have received £1,000 from local egg producer Matthew Blaken.

The Parish Council has benefitted from a very welcome £1,000 for the continuing upkeep of the popular community children’s play area. The playground is maintained and run for the village by the Shipton by Beningbrough Parish Council.

Council Clerk Megan Remmer said: “The playground is brilliant for local families but does cost upwards of £3,000 thousand per year to keep in good order.

This generous donation will go a long way towards off-setting some of our costs..
