Easingwold in Bloom 2023 – Judge’s report ...

Read what happened during the 2023 judging of the Easingwold in Bloom competition:

It has been my pleasure to walk the many different parts of Easingwold looking at the front gardens and displays.

The variances of weather have been challenging for us all and the cost-of-living crisis may also have been a factor this year.

The most impressive and impactful planters and displays are in the Market Place and are provided by Easingwold Town Council for everyone to enjoy.

The Fountain on the Market Green, troughs next to the Market Cross and Long Street’s many planters are beautiful.

The various troughs tended by Easingwold W.I. also deserve a mention for their vibrant colours and interesting planting.

The ones I saw are at the stone troughs entering Easingwold on Thirsk Road, York Road and Oulston Road plus alongside GH Smith in the Market Place.
