A weekend of fine music in Easingwold...

On Sunday, we had an appearance by the Easingwold Town Band playing for the first time in a long time in our market square and a large crown came to watch and listen.

Much of the band sat optimistically in front of the Buttercross and thus thankfully kept any hint of rain off for the afternoon – indeed the sun even came out on several occasions for a listen!

The Town Band played a very varied program from traditional tunes to modern arrangements of popular songs and Disney Classics from the Jungle Book and Pirates of the Caribbean – ending with a fabulous interpretation of Village People’s In the Navy - which earned them a rousing cheer.......
