Outwood Academy Easingwold Celebrates Successful GCSE Results Day...

Students from Outwood Academy Easingwold are celebrating after receiving their GCSE results.

After an extraordinary couple of years which has seen students have to deal with the pandemic alongside their studies, there were scenes of joy at the Easingwold based academy as students collected their results.

We were delighted that 69% of students gained a grade 5 or above in both English Language and Mathematics with 84% of students gaining a grade 4 or higher in these subjects.

Strong results in English Language and Mathematics will prepare our students for their next steps in their education and employment.

There were particular highlights for the academy in French where 96% of students achieved a grade 5 or higher and English Language where 89% of students gained a grade 5 or above.

In addition, 89% of students gained a grade 5 or higher in Music and 86% of students were awarded a grade 5 or above in Geography.......
