Despite blustery conditions, Sunday 24th September saw an enthusiastic community turn-out for Shipton by Beningbrough’s much-loved annual Scarecrow Festival.
This year, there were also two additional events! Those who joined in the fun, also saw the unveiling of a plaque to commemorate Shipton Airfield. Plus, there was a talk to mark the 125th anniversary of Shipton becoming Shipton by Beningbrough.
