Easingwold Hawks vs Elm Park - Sunday 16 October, kick-off 10.30am.

Sunday morning saw Easingwold Hawks U11’s third game of the season played at home against Elm Park, after a tough start for the newly-promoted Hawks.

The 13 player squad warmed up in the Autumn sunshine with a strong wind in favour of the Hawks for the first half.

Elm Park started well with early possession which resulted in a couple of half chances in the opening minutes. Hawks’ goalkeeper Alfie pressured a one on one situation causing the Park striker to shoot wide.

Pressure continued with three early corners for Elm Park but all were well defended by the staunch Easingwold defence.

Hawks’ striker Rhys then ran the full length of the pitch in a smart breakaway move only to be brought down by a Park defender.

Twelve minutes into the game and another corner from Elm Park which was converted after a goal mouth scramble.......
