Despite being a very cold evening every table was filled for our Annual Meeting. The newsletter was dealt with and notices given from it.
Members were thanked for their help with the Ceilidh last month, which was extremely popular with requests for another one next year.
Jane W had been our delegate at the Autumn Council Meeting and was thanked for her excellent report, with an update.
We had had a lovely walk in the sunshine, ending at the Golf Club for lunch, which we all enjoyed. There will not be a walk in December.
The proposed dinner at the George Hotel in January is proving to be very popular.
We then went on to the official business of the evening. Secretary Jean gave her report, followed by our excellent treasurer Linda, who told us we were in a good place financially.
Finally it was president Jenny’s turn. Jenny praised the super team committee, saying each one was a very valuable contributor.
We do so much, and the committee members are always so willing to help wherever needed.
Members too were thanked for volunteering when drivers, catering, hosting, and all other things that needed help with.
