The Easingwold Advertiser & Weekly News is a family-owned paper for Easingwold and the surrounding area
Easingwold has, for several years, been dubbed the "Town of Café Culture". And now, a new development involving the Tourist Office in collaboration with the community's catering outlets, has resulted in an updated Café Culture map.
The project, funded by North Yorkshire Council and Easingwold Town Council, is part of a marketing campaign to sell the town to visitors on the back of its cafés and restaurants.
The campaign will be rolled out in time for the Tourist Office's Spring re-opening in April, following its Winter closure.
The project comes at a time of increasing interest in the town from tourists. Footfall at the Tourist Office has risen steadily since the pandemic, rising from over 3,000 in 2021 to almost 4,000 this year.
