It takes more than torrential rain to deter the people of Easingwold from visiting the October EDAS 2023 Art Fair! The event attracted more than 600 visitors.
The weekend saw local art groups, schools, and the Boot Shop showcase their work, alongside more than 50 individual artists.
Volunteers from the Galtres Centre pulled out all the stops to erect the art stands, tables, and seating; quickly followed by the artists clutching bags and trollies of precious paintings.
The room buzzed with renewed friendships and the excitement of getting ready for the Preview Evening, held for Friends of EDAS and exhibiting artists.
The decision to extend the exhibition area upstairs proved enormously successful, with a steady stream of art lovers complimenting the airy feel and the additional space to appreciate the art.
Volunteer artists stewarded to ensure visitors were able to access both exhibition areas.
