On Tuesday 25th October, Glenda Turnbull and Carol Fenwick visited the Yorkshire Air Ambulance Headquarters at Nostell Air Support Unit to deliver a cheque for £4090 - the final bequest from RAF Linton-on-Ouse Thrift Shop.
Glenda and Carol started volunteering in the Thrift Shop in 1985 and continued to run it in their spare time until it was forced to close as part of the station drawdown following the transfer of flying training to RAF Valley.......
