The Galtres Committee for Yorkshire Cancer Research celebrated the centenary of the charity’s founding with a charitable giving lunch at Coxwold Village Hall.

The fundraiser event was a success and everyone enjoyed the lunch, followed by a lecture with Suzanne Stirk on the books she had written about the area.

The Committee entertained ninety guests, raising an amazing amount of money for the charity—£3,000.

This large donation would not have been possible without the generous local support.
