Maybe you use words which you’ve brought with you from other areas of the country. And do the words you use or hear differ between generations?
May is Local History Month and libraries across North Yorkshire are working with the University of Leeds, alongside the Dales Countryside Museum and Ryedale Folk Museum, to update the Survey of English Dialects.
