Easingwold’s Millfield parkrun turned purple at last Saturday's event marking International Women's Day.
Many participants and volunteers chose to wear purple to mark the day, as is now a tradition at Millfield.
The weather was very kind as the 239 participants were set off at 9am by run director, Lise Seiersen. Volunteer tailwalker, Lorrane Fox, brought everyone along at the rear.
First home was William Keens and Isla McLanachan. This parkrun saw a female majority of 124 among the participants and volunteers. Three people joined the group on the parkrun for their first time ever.
Will Retchless (100), David Brogan (100), Gill Gould (100), Fergus Mcclanachan (50), and Tobias Molesworth (50) celebrated milestone runs.
Millfield parkrun is pleased to announce a second GP practice partnership with Tollerton Surgery, in addition to the ongoing partnership with Millfield Surgery.
