Tea Hee Winner ...

An Easingwold couple won a competition in the Easingwold Advertiser for afternoon tea at Tea Hee cafe. The winners received a warm welcome from Tea Hee owner, Rebecca, and her staff.

The cake stand delivered to the table groaned with delights both savoury and sweet. Having demolished the savoury layer and devoured the scones with jam and clotted cream, the couple reported feeling “defeated”, as the top layer of tempting cakes was left untouched!

Rebecca came to the rescue with a doggy bag. The competition winners expressed it was “a wonderful and most enjoyable experience” at the local cafe and wanted to extend their gratitude to the Easingwold Advertiser for regularly publishing competitions that promote and support local businesses.
