Rainbow visit the local Bird of Prey Centre ...

Several of the girls from Galtres Rainbows in Huby visited the York Bird of Prey Centre.

They met fledgling owls and kookaburras in the hall before going outside to meet the Barn Owl, hawks and even a golden eagle.

The barn owl was flown to each of the girls, enticed by food! The the owl was flown over their heads to listen for any noise made by the wings.
