Scouts Troop - Local Litter Pick ...

Scouts from 1st Moxby Moor Group met in Easingwold on Thursday evening to carry out a large local litter pick activity to recognize National Volunteer Week.

Armed with litter pickers and bags, they spent 1.5 hours visiting many of the parks and public areas in the Town collecting litter and making the places a bit nicer for everyone.

I am pleased to say, that overall there was not huge amounts in any of the parks, but the scouts still managed to collect a couple of bags worth on their route.

The same Scouts also attended the Easingwold Community Day on Sunday 1st June and raised just over £100 for their chosen charity - Polar Bears International.
