The Big Chop ...

For over a year, Oliver Wallis, 11, of Easingwold has been growing out his hair.

Not just for the fun of it, but with a goal in mind: to raise funds for The Little Princess Charity. Not only did he fundraise, but he also donated his hair to the charity to be turned into real-hair wigs for children losing hair as a result of cancer treatments or other illnesses.

He has smashed through his target of £500 and Saturday, May 31st, he had the big chop. Well done Oliver!
