At last Jenny was able to welcome everyone to the meeting on a really lovely evening, with the doors open.
Lots on offer from the Federation including a musical evening, a trip to see the Blackpool lights, to include Boundary Mill, Crewel Embroidery Workshop, and A Hidden History Walk in York, all of which some members signed up for.
Last month’s Resolution meeting had gone really well and all had enjoyed a lovely supper.
Jenny read out the report from Shirley from Huby WI who had been delegate at The Annual Meeting in London, where the Resolution on Dentistry was passed.
Our next walk will be around Huby, with lunch at Miss Daisy’s on the first Wednesday in July.
Lynne had managed to find a venue that could fit us all in, the Forresters Arms, Kilburn, for a dinner in October.
We were given dates for the Group activities, a musical evening, Carol Service and the Spring Show.
