Easingwold beavers go to Flamingo Land...

On Saturday the 17th of June, Easingwold Beavers spent an enjoyable day at Flamingo Land.

The group started with an educational class on diet and teeth and learning about the food chain plus getting to hold a hissing cockroach.

Next was a tour of the African animals. Ben, the group’s guide for the day, told them all about the cheetah, giraffes, lemurs and many more exciting animals.

The tour finished by watching the hippos have their lunch, just before the Beavers had theirs.

The afternoon was spent playing in the children's planet adventure playground before watching the sea lion show.

Next, the Beavers had a biscuit break before time for the final activities of the day. They saw farmyard animals, the penguin talk, the wallaby walk, flamingos, rhinos, and baboons before visiting the gift shop and setting off home.
