Outwood Academy Easingwold trip to Hickstead...

Outwood Academy Easingwold Equestrian team safely made their epic 275 mile journey to the prestigious All England Jumping Course at Hickstead, in Sussex. They took the trip during half-term to compete at the NSEA (National Schools Equestrian Association) Championships.

The team consisted of Alice Spivey, Daisy Lumley, Holly Middlemiss and Sophie Gittus. They qualified at regional competitions earlier this year for the Eventer’s Challenge Championships and the Show Jumping National Finals.

The girls all rode brilliantly, competing against riders from across the UK on their fantastic ponies Fergus, Swallow, Champion and Dave.

Highlights were Sophie being placed 2nd in a huge 1m showjumping class, and Daisy 13th out of 200 entries in the 90cm Eventer’s Challenge.
