EDCCA Children’s activities at the Scout Hut...

It was a lovely sunny afternoon in the school holidays when the team set up the four tables ready for the EDCCA children’s activities.

A chair was placed outside with a copy of the activity day poster and two bright blue balloons on to attract attention to passers-by.

Each table was set up with a different activity. These ranged from colouring in butterflies and birds to making wrist flappers that move as you wave your arm up and down.

Children also enjoyed planting sunflower seeds in newspaper pots that they had made, making different styles of card flowers, and creating wonderful natural mobiles. They used a variety of feathers in different colours and sizes plus pine cones.
