FAREWELL TO EASINGWOLD AND DISTRICT FLOWER CLUB...

On a lovely warm afternoon at the end of June 2024, members of Easingwold and District Flower Club enjoyed a superb Afternoon Tea at Burn Hall.

This was to celebrate our 40th Birthday - 40 happy years of friendship through flowers.

We invited two special guests from the North East Area of the National Association of Flower Arrangers, Janet Hayton from Skelton and Ann Simpson from New Earswick, both of whom visited the Club on several occasions to demonstrate their flower arranging skills or wearing a Judges Hat to assess the work members had produced to illustrate a title they had been given.

Members were assessed as Beginners; Intermediate; Advanced or in a Super Class. The last class was set up to cater for members who had won the Advanced Class Trophy at least three times.
