FAREWELL TO EASINGWOLD AND DISTRICT FLOWER CLUB...

On a lovely warm afternoon at the end of June 2024, members of Easingwold and District Flower Club enjoyed a superb afternoon tea at Burn Hall.

This was to celebrate the floral arrangement club’s 40th Birthday and four happy decades of friendship through flowers.

Two special guests from the North East Area of the National Association of Flower Arrangers were in attendance: Janet Hayton from Skelton and Ann Simpson from New Earswick. Both guests have previously visited the club on several occasions to demonstrate their floral arrangement skills or to assess the work members had produced.

Members were assessed in four different levels: beginners, intermediate, advanced, or super class. The last class was set up to cater to members who had won the Advanced Class Trophy at least three times.
