Millfield Junior Parkrun ...

Sunday 23rd July saw the very first Millfield Junior Parkrun here in Easingwold.

41 brave children (aged between 4 and 14) turned up despite the rain to try out the 2k course on Millfield Park.

Mike Wallis who got the junior Parkrun up and running. He was helped by a team of volunteers and local sponsors. Mike too the lead as the Run Director for the morning, and his son, Oliver, warmed up the participants before the run/jog/walk commenced.
