Easingwold Camera Club ...

On Monday 13th of January 2025 there was a meeting of the Forest of Galtres camera Club at the Galtres Centre. The visiting speaker was someone well known to many of us in Easingwold.

Richard Orr is not only the Chair of our local U3a group but is also a keen and passionate photographer.

He divided his session into two parts. The main part of the evening was a talk about the 52 Frames Group.

This, he explained, is an on line cooperative group with thousands of members.

Each week you are given a photographic challenge to take and submit an image on a given theme.

There is an element of appraisal in the group and members can encourage each other.

The beauty of this is that people are encouraged to take a picture each week.

Richard took us through the challenges he had completed and showed us his images.
