It's early January and it's Snowing ...

The weather forecasters had been proclaiming the snow for a couple of days prior to it actually happening to the point where people were actually changing their Saturday night plans.

Myself, Fiona and Jet the Dog (head of security at G H Smith & Son) visited a couple of local hostelries on Saturday evening and came across a few friends who were going home early because of the snow, but we all proclaimed what snow?

It did eventually start just around midnight and really got going in the early morning after 5am when the most snow fell.

Sunday morning was like waking up in a winter wonderland with the snow crisp and fresh.

In Wass we had around 4.5 inches of snow before it started to rain at around lunch time.

But before that myself and Jet went for a walk, we were the first into the woods at Wass. The snow made the going difficult for me but not for Jet.
