Boot Shop Carol Service ...

On Thursday 12th December 2024 The Boot Shop held its annual carol service in St. John the Baptist and All Saints Parish church Easingwold.

People supported at the service acted out the nativity story and sang and signed rousing old favourites, such as The Twelve Days of Christmas and Silent Night.

We were joined by Mrs Robson-Beck and children of years 5 & 6 from Easingwold Primary school, who performed a charming version of Little Donkey.

Liv Quigley, of United Responses Health Wellbeing & Outreach Service, delighted everyone with her angelic singing of her self-penned Christmas classic ‘Love this Christmas’.

Nancy Kilburn who read a highly original Christmas poem `Bats’, by John Mitchell. And Linda Kentley, a volunteer from Easingwold library who gave us a moving account of the Shepherd’s story.
