A rough weekend weather wise with Storm Darragh putting in a prolonged appearance which curtailed a few running activities.
Looking back though and on the evening of Thursday 5th December we had an enjoyable fun filled Relay event up on the Claypenny Estate.
Teams of three worked really well and everyone got a chance to run hard without going too deep, ideal for this time of year.
It was great to see the nice dynamic warm ups going on and lots of chatter before, during and after the competitive streak came forward.
Meanwhile on Saturday 7th, Mark Clegg was over in Otley lining up to do the Punk Panther Events Christmas Cracker with 19.1 miles and over 800 metres (2,624 ft) of ascent. Mark had a great race finishing 2nd overall and 1st MV50. Picture below, well done Mark!
Sunday 8th and the undiminished tail end of Storm Darragh saw 7 ERC members taking part in the last Hardmoors Trail Running event of 2024, with Sam and Maisey Davies competing in the 10k.
