Easingwold Cricket Club 2024 Presentation Evening ...

The Club held its annual awards evening on Saturday 7th December. The event, in the cricket pavilion, was well attended by current and past players, members and spectators.

Many discussions remembered balmy summers evenings, dressed in shorts & T-shirts with a glass in hand to quench the thirst as we gathered inside to protect ourselves from the gales and heavy rain - oh for an English summer!

The 1st event was the big annual draw of the "100 Club" with the special prize of £1,000 for the winner. Roger Hutchinson was our winner and went home with a deserved, big smile on his face.

Next in line was to announce a further 10 inductees into the ECC Hall of Fame. This year’s awards went to David Curry, Kevin Smith, Jonathan Marwood, Andrew Megson, Keith Hollinrake, Kevin Hollinrake, Jason Sargent, Paul Redshaw, Chris Robinson (ECC President) and the late Colin Minton.

All great cricketers and clubmen who now take their places in the pavilion on the Hall of Fame Board.
