What a busy time we’re having, Jenny was delayed, having been on a most interesting Federation outing to Bankfield Museum and the Piece Hall in Halifax, so Linda started the meeting with an excellent presentation on using the WI Learning Hub, where every sort of class can be found, from crafting, exercise and talks etc, all free to WI members.
Several lunches are being organized by the Federation, along with a holiday to Norfolk and several workshops.
We will need a delegate for the Spring Council Meeting in April in Scarborough.
The speaker list is now full and the new programme will be available in January, when we start our new year with the History of the Wedding Gown by Kevin Thornhill.
We still have our dinner at the George Hotel to look forward to in January, and theatre visit in February.
Also next year we are planning to go to Kynren, “an epic history of England” in September.
Our monthly walks will resume in January, when we are staying local, with lunch at BATA.
