Sutton on the Forest Primary School News...

Saturday 24th December 2022

We have had a wonderful last week of term with lots of fun happening each day. The children and staff had an absolute ball with Dave from Skip2bFit, enjoying the high-impact sessions and gaining a new found love of skipping.

I know that skipping ropes have been added to some Santa lists and we will also be getting some more ropes in school as we have had high demand for them at playtimes!

The children are keen to practise their new found skills at every opportunity and they will be able to see if this pays off when we take part in a skipping challenge with the cluster schools in March.

We had a lot of fun crafting on Tuesday, with the children creating four festive things to bring home: a card, calendar, bauble and gingerbread man.

I was on card making with Mrs Inman, and we were blown away by how carefully the children worked to produce a fantastic finished product.

I know the other staff members were equally impressed with the children completing their activities. If you are anything like me and my mum, you will still have these crafts displayed every Christmas for years to come.......
