SUTTON ON THE FOREST YORKSHIRE COUNTRYWOMEN’S ASSOCIATION...

Members of the Sutton on the Forest Yorkshire Countrywomen’s Association, Barbara Jacobs (Chair), Irene Martin (Secretary) and Judy Cliffe (Publicity and Outings) met with charity leaders to hand over cheques of £425 each raised by the YCA at the Open Gardens event in the summer where they undertook the catering for the weekend at the Sutton on the Forest Grey Village Hall.

They met Frank Johnston-Banks of the Easingwold Food Bank and John McGall from “I Am Reusable” who undertakes such sterling work with the Homeless and Struggling Families in York.

The YCA ladies spent some interesting time with both Frank and John discussing their experiences and learning about the work of both charities.......
