YOU AND ME...

The first event in the series: “YOU AND ME – bringing people together”, arranged by Easingwold Parish Church, was held in the church last Saturday afternoon.

The aim is to include all people in light- hearted social occasions, with refreshments, to share their interests.

This time, we were invited to bring along and read some of our favourite poems and prose pieces.

The items chosen were from a wide spectrum of authors, including Eliot, Wordsworth, Longfellow, Heaney, Hopkins, Dylan Thomas, and Auden, as well as some written by the participants themselves.......
