Marvellous Makers at Easingwold Community Library...

The Easingwold Library has recently hosted two great children’s summer events, both run by brilliant local artist, Chris Geeson. The childrens’ library events both linked in with this year’s Summer Reading Challenge as both were crafting sessions.

The ‘Make a Minion Pencil Holder’ event produced some very creative work that proved an organisational success, providing a home for all those stray pencils and crayons!

The ‘Make a Robot’ was the last of the summer events and Chris Geeson was the Master Roboteer for the morning.

All the children (and parents and carers) who took part were completely engrossed with building creative, imaginative robots using all the old junk that Chris had been saving for the session.
