Residents of Oulston are enjoying improved public footpaths owing to several Sundays of unpaid work by a team from Community Payback.
Community Payback is a program where low- and medium-risk first time offenders are court ordered for a period of unpaid work benefiting local communities.
The unpaid work may include painting, litter picking, clearing footpaths or similar activities.
The team sent to Oulston have cleared grass and weeds that have encroached on the public footpaths and strimmed grass on the verges of the footpaths.
