Easingwold’s Chocolate Shop Celebrates its 1st Anniversary...

Customers, special guests, and staff gathered last Tuesday to celebrate the first anniversary of the Autism Plus café and chocolate shop.

In just a year, the shop’s coffee, cakes, and chocolates have become a well-established feature of Easingwold’s marketplace.

Councillor Roberta Swiers from the North Yorkshire Council praised the team for creating an inclusive space where everyone feels welcome.

The café, along with the chocolate factory at Park House Barns in Gilling East that supplies the shop, serves a purpose beyond just providing a great experience and chocolate gifts for customers.

Both offer work experience and support for young people with autism and learning disabilities, who are central to the café’s success and make it such a special place.
