Norman Hartley Challenge Cup...

On Sunday 18th August Easingwold bowling club held the annual Norman Hartley competition which is named after a former long serving player.

The family, now living in Norfolk visit every year, Terry and Peter who play for Thorpe park bowls club (Norwich) also took part in the contest.

24 bowlers played in 8 teams the competition was over 4x40 sessions with a welcome tea stop half way.

At half way it was anyone’s game but that changed up to the final match when two teams F and G ended on exactly the same points and so it was decided on aggregate shots.
