Outwood Academy Easingwold Celebrates Successful A-Level Results Day...

Students from Outwood Academy Easingwold are celebrating after receiving their A-Level results. Despite the disruption to their GCSE year due to the pandemic, students entered post-16 education with a fantastic work ethic and A-Level results day marked the culmination of their outstanding efforts.

There were highlights for the Easingwold based academy with 31% of entries awarded A*- A compared to 27% nationally. 81% of entries were awarded A*- C compared to 76% nationally with an overall pass rate of 100%.

Students have made exceptional progress across all subject areas. On average, each individual grade was two thirds higher than national expected progress which given the context of the pandemic is a phenomenal achievement.
