Easingwold needed a good result on their home green, as they sat 13 points behind Stillington.

While Stillington were just looking to avoid a disaster.

So, what happened? Rinks 1 and 4 were extremely good for the home side as they recorded 28-7 and 24-9 respectively.

Rink 3 was a tighter game with Easingwold winning 15-11.

Could Stillington gain something on Rink 2? With 1 end to go they led 16-14, but it was not their night as Easingwold gained 3 to take it 17-16.

A wonderful game for Easingwold as they won by 10 Points to 0 and 84-43 in Shots.

Stillington are now only 3 in front of Easingwold.

The second game of the night pitched third at home to second as Terrington entertained Malton.

A chance of one of them going top with a good win or Stillington could remain at the summit if Points were close....
