The Easingwold Advertiser & Weekly News is a family-owned paper for Easingwold and the surrounding area
The Year 5 children from Easingwold Primary School took part in a three day residential trip to Liverpool before the Easter holidays.
This is part of the school's personal development offer. The school supports a programme of residential visits which starts in Year 2 with a school sleep over. There’s a night camping in Year 3, a coastal experience to East Barnby in Year 4, and a city experience in Year 5. The programme ends with a full week of outdoor pursuits at Bewerley Park in Year 6.
The trip supports children to further develop two of the school's core values of resilience and responsibility.
Children learnt how to; manage their own dorms, look after their belongings and room keys and how to safely navigate a busy city.
