The Easingwold Advertiser & Weekly News is a family-owned paper for Easingwold and the surrounding area
The three year 3 and 4 classes from Easingwold Primary School had a wonderful visit to the Etz Chaim Synagogue in Leeds, where they learnt lots about the Jewish religion.
They learnt why boys wear hats, why sweets are thrown at celebrations along with a whole host of other facts. All of their questions were answered!
The children saw, close up, some religious objects that are important and special to Jewish people. The beautiful pair of rimmonim (silver ornamental objects for the Torah) were a favourite.
