Crayke Quiz A Great Success...

Saturday night saw local quizzers come out in force to support a community-led event. With over sixty people attending, the atmosphere was lively and fun and a great time was had by all.

Hosted by CHASA (Crayke Home And School Association) participants enjoyed a tasty Thornton’s Pie and Peas supper followed by a fun night of quizzing and games.

In total over £805 was raised with proceeds from ticket sales, the raffle and a game of stand-up sit-down bingo going directly towards providing vital equipment for Crayke C of E Primary School.

Jonathan Dawson, Chairperson for CHASA commented “It was such a fun evening and nights like Saturday don’t happen by accident.

They happen thanks to the amazing volunteers that help organize and run these events and the community that comes out to support them.

The generosity that comes with that never ceases to amaze me and to raise over £800 in a single evening is just fantastic".........."
